| Karen Gstundtner, Nutrition Services Director at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, has been honored as the O’Brien Region’s Food and Nutrition Service Director of the Year. Karen was recognized at the Morrison Healthcare Foodservice annual meeting in March. The O’Brien Region encompasses 70 facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. The recognition is based operational performance, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, cafeteria meal service satisfaction, client satisfaction, budgetary performance and safety. Award highlights are Average Health Department Rating of 100.5 percent for 3-plus years, starting a successful Catering To You patient meal service program and achieving patient meal service satisfaction in the Green Zone for five years and the Compass award for the Be-A-Star Account of the Year in 2008. |
