Through the Spirit of Women program at CRMC, we strive to be a resource for the women in our community; to help them improve their health and have a positive impact on the health of their families, friends and neighbors.

Our Spirit of Women program focuses on helping women understand that it is ok to take time to take care of their own mind, body and spirit. However, we understand that part of a woman’s life is taking care of others, so we also strive to provide women with information and resources to help them care for their loved ones.

We work with physicians and other community organizations to present programs that focus on the health issues prominent in our community. These programs provide information on improving health through small lifestyle changes, identifying risks, dealing with a disease, how to talk to their doctor about health issues and more. In addition, our Spirit of Women program seeks to help the women in our community build relationships with each other and with the resource organizations within our community.

Each year we offer the women in our area several special programs: The Go Red Rally, Woman’s World/Day of Dance, The Wonderful Journey Pregnancy Fair and The Pink Ribbon Tea. In addition, our Spirit of Women program sponsors seminars on a variety of topics including diabetes, menopause, nutrition, financial health and stress.
